This blog started out as a story of the journey Cassidy will take as she gets her sisterlocks on Oct 9th. But, as I began to post, and get comments, there is so much more to say..to talk about. Family, Black and White, God, love, adoption, the soul and somehow God brings all those things together here..
Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the number of times it takes your breath away...

adorable! i'm going to order a couple sets from tomoka's twists...my hair isn't long enough yet so i'll just sport the cute earrings until then.
Looks good.
Looks mighty nice! Just a side note, you should probably push the head band a little further back, so it sort of nestles on the front portion of her hair. With time, you'll get the hang of it and for rough times, nothing a spritz of water or steam from the shower won't fix.
She looks so cute!! So glad you decided to do this with her.
I have a blog award for you, come over and see!
Thanks all, and thanks Pam! I accept it graciously although truth be known I don't have a clue what I am doing :) Looks official on my blog though so don't tell :)
Hugs
...in response to what you left on my blog...
...if I wasn't just like you, I couldn't have written what I did.
...praying for eachother sounds like a plan.
((((hugs)))))
Very cute.:-)
And I like your award, too!
She's looking good! Then again, she always does!
Her hair really looks great and I just want you to know as an african american locked woman your daughter hair is fantastic. I am so proud of you as her mom to embrace her roots.
