Sure enough, we found Mrs.Doris. She was trained by Mrs.Denise and does retightenings out of her home 20 min away from me!!
We go meet her, and hopefully get retightened next Saturday!
I have mixed emotions because we love Mrs Denise very much, but with 6 little ones it is crazy trying to get to her when there is someone closer.
I pray we can have the same kind of wonderful relationship with Mrs. Doris!

I have to say that one advantage of just doing braids is that I can do it myself whenever we have time and it is free.

You could learn to do the grooming yourself. It is not difficult at all. You only need a crochet hook and a little time. Before I got sisterlocks I wore braids for more than 12 years and always did my own hair. After getting sisterlocks installed by the loctician I was determined to continue to do my own hair. I never saw the loctician again. Four years later I have no regrets. Just think of all the money you will save.
