Presleigh just getting Cass out of the tub :)
You can see a good 1/4 in new growth here at the base.

I think they are starting to loc! I wonder now how the loctician will get them out on the 9th when she does her head!!

I was looking at some awesome videos today of yarn extensions and I am wondering if anyone has done with with loc'd hair? The lock being the third wheel for the braid? They look really cool! See my hair links for the You tube videos she does!

We do yarn braids. I wouldn't know why you couldn't do them with locked hair. It would be worth a try in my opinion!

Will leave you a 'comment' on your blog when I've typed out and done a short video of the names-pronunciation...I'll put it on my blog for you. And don't worry, I won't be offended if you don't choose any of them :)

There's a video in the rpevious post, I pronounce the word Xhosa in the introduction..I think!!Let me check before I send you on a wild goose chase...ok, it's near at the end of the video. The title is Xhosa 101.It's spoken in South Africa. Mainly in the Western Cape and Eastern Cape. The missionaries first found fertile ground with the Xhosa people. Nelson Mandela is Xhosa.

You have the accents perfectly..Oh, the last syllable would be more of a 'we', like in WEAther.

I know I am so late, but I used to use yarn on clients all the time to lock. They work like a charm. They are easy to take care of and give you a "preview" of what the locks will look like. I always do them in 2 strands instead of a 3 strand braid. I think it's more femme.
